This week I’ve been out of the studio baking as many Christmas treats as possible for the blackthorn Christmas celebrations and open day. I’ve baked hundreds of Christmas cookies, ginger bread trees, mince pies and various other treats and breads. back to the grind of the studio next week.

Hello and welcome to part 65 of what’s on the workbench. This week I’ve been doing a little baking, creating bread dragons to help some friends celebrate Michaelmas. Michaelmas is celebrated on September 29 and is the Christian feast day of the archangel Michael.

We took a little break from the studio and headed off to Bloodstock. For those of you that don’t know, Bloodstock is the largest independent heavy music festival in the UK. We all had a great time, enjoyed many beers and bands. Burning Beard represented at Bloodstock.
