What Is Vaesen Mythic Britain and Ireland?
According to an official press release by Free League Marketing, Vaesen Mythic Britain and Ireland will introduce new lands for adventurers to explore. But while the core of Vaesen has been the horror and atmosphere of Icelandic regions, this new supplement will draw from more eurocentric sources. Specifically, you will explore supernatural goings-on across the British Isles, which include England, Wales, Ireland, and Scotland. The inspirations behind the new mysteries in this expansion include the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (Sherlock Holmes), Mary Shelley (Frankenstein), and Bram Stoke (Dracula). To quote the press release, “Explore the fog-shrouded streets of London, discover the secrets of Rose House and the British Society. Discover the islands and walk the moors in search of long-lost tales and ancient remnants.”
Vaesen Mythic Britain and Ireland will be written by Graeme Davis. Davis is an industry legend that has worked in the business for over 15 years. His credits include tabletop experiences such as being one of the original designers of Warhammer Fantasy as well as multiple writing credits in several video games including Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth, and Solasta: Crown of the Magister.
Vaesen Mythic Britain and Ireland is available right now for pre-order on Free League’s store page. This page includes the expansion by itself, physical maps and handouts, as well as digital PDFs and virtual assets for the VTT Foundry. All physical products are expected to arrive on October 11.
