Creating the first video game adaptation of the Age of Sigmar’s dark-fantasy universe, developers Gasket Games are aiming to bring a dynamic turn-based game packed with fast-paced warfare. Teaming with Focus Home Interactive, they have officially announced the release date for Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground with a new trailer. Fans won’t have to wait much longer either as they plan to launch on May 27th for the PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
This new trailer also offers the closest look yet at one of the three factions and the customization options. Players will lead one of three highly customizable armies, the eternal Stormcasts, the ghoulish Nighthaunt, or the rotting Maggotkin to glory in rogue-like single-player campaigns or against real players in online PvP. With each new battle, you’ll collect new cards granting new units, skills, weapons, and gear to strengthen your armies
