All of the flesh was painted using Games Workshops Contrast Guilliman Flesh.

The hair was painted with Games Workshops Contrast Iyanden Yellow.

The jacket was painted with Games Workshops Contrast Blood Angels Red.

The jacket was then highlighted with Games Workshops Evil Sunz Scarlet.

The trousers were painted with Games Workshops Contrast Wyldwood.

The cloak was painted with Games Workshops Contrast Cygor Brown.

The bandages were painted with Games Workshops Contrast Skeleton Horde.

The boots were painted with Games Workshops Contrast Black Templar.

The silk bandages were painted with Games Workshops Contrast Apothecary White.

The top of the hands, nose and cheeks were highlighted with Games Workshop Kislev Flesh.

The chains were painted with Games Workshops Leadbelcher.

The sling was highlighted using Coat D Arms Linen.

The trousers and cloak were highlighted with Games Workshop Mournfang Brown.

A 50/50 mis of Winsor and Newton black and burnt umber oil paints were mixed with white spirit to create a mixture with the consistency of milk.

This mix was then painted over the entire miniature.

After about 10 minutes the spirit had evaporated, leaving a dark oil coat over the miniature.

Using a cotton bud i removed  areas of oil paint to reveal the layers below.

This creates a deep shadow and darkens some of he original colours while also giving the illusion of multiple highlights.

To finish off the miniature I painted the base rim with Games Workshops Abbadon Black.

Once dry I coated the base with PVA and dipped it into my home made basing mix.

The mix contains multiple grades of sand, small slate chips, different colour foam flocks and foam foliage.

Static grass and some home made purple foliage was glued onto the base.
