Part 19: Gaming widgets
In this part of the Clone Wars hobby blog we take a look at the movement and range widgets from the starter box.
The widgets that come in the box are made from hard plastic and not card, giving the impression of a more luxurious gaming aid.
I wanted to paint the widgets to match the clones in the set as it would be more visually pleasing than grey plastic.

I started by spraying the widgets with a white gloss primer. I then mixed up a black oil wash to shade the recesses on the widgets.
I decided to paint some of the panels orange on the movement widgets to match the clone troopers.
