Part 15: Painting Obi Wan Kenobi
Today we are painting Obi Wan Kenobi from the Star Wars Clone Wars starter set.
The miniature was primed white using a cheap white car primer.
The first step was to paint the under armour, gloves and lightsaber hilt using Games Workshops contrast Black Templar.

The belt was given a coat of Games Workshops contrast Wyldwood.

The cloth and hair was given a layer of Games Workshops contrast Skeleton Horde.

The white armour was shaded using Games Workshops contrast Apothecary white.

The rock was painted with a 50/50 mix of Games Workshops contrast Iyanden yellow and Gryph hound orange.

The face was giving a layer of Games Workshops contrast Guilliman Flesh.

The cloth was given a highlight using Games Workshops Ushabti Bone.

The cloth was then given a final highlight using Games Workshops Screaming Skull.

Next I added added a little highlight of Games Workshops Leadbelcher to the belt buckle and lightsaber hilt.

The armour was highlighted with Warpaints White.

A 50/50 mix of Games Workshops contrast Aethermatic blue and Talassar blue was painted along the lightsaber, dragging the darkest points towards the hilt. I also painted along parts of the arm, chest and face that were closest to the lightsaber simulating a glow effect.

The base was given a coat of Coat D Arms Red Brown.

The base was given a layer of pva then dipped into Geek Gaming Mars Earth.

The base and rock were given a light drybrush using Games Workshops Dry paint Ryza Rust.

The rock was then given a light drybrush using Games Workshops Foundation paint Iyanden Darksun.

To finish the miniature the base rim was painted using Games Workshops Abaddon black.
