Painting Tutorial: Sky Slayer Jetbike.
Today we are going to paint an Ultramarines Sky Slayer Jetbike.
The miniature was given a prime coat of Games Workshops Leadbelcher spray.
The Space marine and all armour plates on the Sky Slayer Jetbike were given a coat of Games Workshops contrast Talassar Blue.
Once the blue was dry I used Games Workshops Leadbelcher to tidy up and slips on the miniature.
I then used Games Workshops Warplock Bronze to paint the 6 engine pipes on the Sky Slayer.
The trim on the Sky Slayer Jetbike and the Space Marine were painted with Vallejo Bronze.
All of the metallic areas on the Sky Slayer were given a wash of Games Workshops Agrax Earthshade.
Some of the armour plates ere painted with Coat D Arms Tank Light Grey to give some visual interest.
The eyes and legion insignia on the Space Marine were also painted with the same paint.
The big central engine block was given a dry brush using Games Workshops Neon Compound.
The centre screen on the Sky Slayer control panel was painted with Games Workshops Tesseract Glow.

The other control screens and buttons on the Sky Slayer control panel was painted with Games Workshops Contrast Blood Angels Red.
The Space marines eye lenses were also painted with the same contrast paint.

Using a mix of two contrast paints, Gryph hound orange and Iyanden yellow i painted the rocks on the base.
While the contrast paints were drying I added a selection of decals onto the sky Slayer.
Once the decals were dry i used a small piece of torn sponge to add weathering to the front of the Sky Slayer.
I sponged on Games Workshops Leadbelcher making sure I went over parts of the decals to tie them into the overall paint job.
The support stem was then given a coat of Games Workshops Abaddon Black.
Games Workshops Typhus Corrosion was used to add weathering to the front engine vent and the exhausts at the back.
I used the Geek Gaming base ready Mars Earth to base the Sky Slayers.
Once the Mars Earth was dry it was given a drybrush of Games Workshops Ryza Rust.
I used the same paint to add some weathering to the fins and front of the Sky Slayer.
To finish the Sky Slayer the base rim was given a coat of Games Workshops Abaddon Black.
